Verza (2007)

Marlik is an ancient site in Gilan in the northern part of Iran. It dates back to the early-mid-2nd millennium BCE , which means 3,000 years ago. This site is very famous for the gold objects discovered from here, but some terracotta sculptures were also found which mainly had animal figures such as an ox called Verza. I made my Verza inspired by the Marlik culture.
