Remaking Tiles (18th Century) from Ali Akbar Sanati Museum, Tehran, Iran (2014)

The Ali Akbar Sanati Museum provided us with two 200-year-old broken tiles to produce ten replicas. At the first stage, two moulds of the given tiles were made. Twelve tiles were made with help of the moulds and baked after drying. At the second stage, the motifs were painted on the surfaces with colourful glazes. After glazing, the works were baked to 1000oC. Ten of them were installed.
