Making Different Colours and Textures by Using Single Glaze (2021)

Glaze is basically a glass. Glass is a material where atoms are arranged randomly as in liquid rather than in an orderly manner. Glazes give many advantages to pottery such as beauty and diverse product appearance, impenetrable bodies, and increased physical and chemical resistance. Glazes can cover uneven surfaces, preserve body decorations, and sanitize the surfaces of ceramic products.
I applied two layers of the same glaze (Iron Oxide) on some parts of my works and created different tones and textures.
