Relief Work Inspired by an Original Ziwiye Ivory Plaque (2016)

An original Ziwiye Ivory work less than 20 cm in size was chosen as an inspiration for a relief mural. It was recreated on clay tiles maximizing the size to 2.5 meters. After carving, the tiles were baked to 950^oC. The work was then affixed to a wall.
