Copper Oxide Glaze (2020)

I made the pots with white clay on the pottery wheel and baked them. Before the second round of firing, I applied a glaze of copper oxide and baked them in oxidation atmosphere to 1050oC.
The way of applying, the thickness of the glaze , the richness of oxide, the location of the pots in the kiln , temperature and atmosphere of the kiln produce different effects on each product, which makes them unique.
